  • manages and performs regular QA audits

How much will it cost?

Wage and hourly rates for QA people vary according to experience and capability.  Specialists (eg QA consultants who specialise in particular industries) are often more expensive per hour than non-specialists.

Typical rates for our QA people are between $65 and $95 per hour, while qualified QA Consultants can be from $1000 to $2500 per day.  Generally, QA people at lower rates are less experienced, and often less productive, so that the cost for your project may not be reduced by looking for a low rate - it might actually cost you more in total!

Our clients normally need a QA person for periods between six and twelve months.  A longer contract period usually means a lower hourly rate.  The rate that we give you for a particular QA person will be inclusive of all taxes, superannuation, insurance, except GST.

Salaries for QA people range between $60K and $120K, plus super.  Experienced people who can control and mentor a team will range between $80K and $150K.  To find a permanent QA person that matches a client's requirements, we charge the client a percentage of the candidate's first year's salary.
